How much does a Meghalaya tour package cost?+
There is no fixed rate card - every package is quoted to your group size, vehicle, season and add-ons. What is the best time to visit Meghalaya?+
October to May offers clear skies - ideal for sightseeing, Dawki boating and camping. June to September is monsoon: waterfalls like Nohkalikai and Seven Sisters are at their fullest, but carry rain gear and keep buffer days.
How do I reach Shillong from Guwahati?+
Fly to Guwahati Airport (GAU), about 100 km away - we arrange a Guwahati to Shillong taxi pickup (around 3 hours by cab, any time of day). Shillong's own Umroi Airport has limited flights, and we also pick up from Guwahati railway station.
Do your tours include a car and driver?+
Yes - every tour runs in our own vehicle with an experienced local hill driver, and fuel, parking and driver charges are always part of the quote. Choose from sedans, 6-7 seat SUVs and Tempo Travellers on our cars page (link in the menu).
How many days are enough for a Meghalaya trip?+
4–5 days comfortably covers Shillong, Cherrapunji and Dawki. Add 2 days for Kaziranga National Park in Assam, or 5–6 more for a Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh circuit (we arrange the Inner Line Permit).
Is Meghalaya safe for families and solo travellers?+
Yes - Meghalaya is among India's safest and most welcoming states for tourists, including solo women travellers. The hill roads are winding, which is why every tour runs with experienced local drivers.
Do I need any permits for Meghalaya or Tawang?+
Indian tourists need no permit for Meghalaya. Tawang, in Arunachal Pradesh, requires an Inner Line Permit (ILP), which we arrange with your ID and photos before the trip; foreign nationals need a Protected Area Permit.
Can I book just a cab, without a tour package?+
